CANCELLATION POLICY
for GRABAAWR®, Bike Northwoods Tour, SAGBRAW™ and WI Weekender.
You may cancel your registration for a full refund, minus a $55 per person processing fee, before the specified Tour Refund Deadline Date. All refund requests must be made in writing. You must notify us to cancel by sending an email, a fax, or a postal letter. No refunds will be given after the specified tour registration closing date.
Tour Refund Deadline Dates:
GRABAAWR = May 31, 2008
Bike Northwoods Tour = June 14, 2008
SAGBRAW = July 4, 2008
WI Weekender = May 16, 2008
After the specified Tour Refund Deadline Date, you may sell or transfer your registration package for that tour to someone else.
We highly recommend that you protect your travel investment with an inexpensive Travel Protection Insurance Plan. Please consult your local insurance agent.
HOW TO SELL OR TRANSFER YOUR TOUR REGISTRATION
- Notify us (via phone, email, fax or postal mail) of your intention to sell or transfer your tour registration. You may only sell or transfer your entire registration package to one person. You may not breakup the registration package that you have purchased and sell it to multiple individuals.
- When you sell your spot: When you have found someone to purchase your spot on the tour, please contact us in writing (via email, fax, or postal mail) with the name of the person who is buying it, and indicate that you give us permission to swap your place on the tour with this new person. We will not transfer the ownership of the registration until we receive this note in writing from you.
- When you buy a spot: Please fill out a registration paper form completely. Write on the registration form that you have purchased a tour spot from a registered participant, and indicate the name of the person you are replacing.
- “I don’t know anyone who wants to buy my spot”: If you do not have someone to buy your spot you can post a message on the Bike Wisconsin forum Sample post on the forum : "Hi, I can’t do the Bike Northwoods Tour this year. So I am looking to sell my registration to some lucky person. Please contact me ASAP my email address is…. or call me, my number is…. Thanks."
- Your financial arrangements: Responsibility for any financial arrangements agreed upon by you and another person, in relation to the selling or acquiring of a registration on the GRABAAWR®, Bike Northwoods Tour and SAGBRAW™, is strictly on your own. GRABAAWR®, Bike Northwoods Tour and SAGBRAW™, under the auspices of Two Bicycles and A Map, Ltd. takes no responsibility for, and is not involved in any aspects of the external financial arrangements and transactions of their customers.
CHANGES TO TOUR REGISTRATION
Tour Transfer
If you wish to transfer to another tour after registering you may do so minus a $25 processing fee. This cannot be done after the specified Tour Refund Deadline date.
1. You must create a new registration for the tour you would like to attend.
- If you registered online through Sign Me Up you need to create a whole new registration for the tour you would like to attend. After registering, please send us an email explaining that you would like to switch tours.
- If you signed up by paper please fill out a new Registration Form and mail it in with a check. Attach a note to the Registration Form explaining what tour you have already registered for and that you would like to switch tours.
2. Once your second check or credit card payment has cleared we will refund your initial payment minus a $25 processing fee. If you paid by check we will mail you a refund check within 4 weeks. Credit card refunds may take 4-6 weeks to appear on your credit card statement.
TOUR OPTIONS CANCELLATION OR CHANGE
You may cancel or change the Tour Options: Motorcoach & bike transport, Meal Plan, Rider Services, Non Rider Participant Fee, On-Tour Vehicle Permit, Long Term Parking Pass, Pre-Ride Camping and Motel Luggage Shuttle - until the specified Tour Refund Deadline date. There will be a $10 processing fee for the cancellation or change.
Tour Options Cancellation
1. Contact us in writing by email, fax or mail and state which option you would like to cancel and which tour you are registered for.
2. We will cancel the option and refund your payment minus a $10 processing fee. If you paid by check we will mail you a refund check within 4 weeks. Credit card refunds may take 4-6 weeks to appear on your credit card statement.
Tour Options Change
1. If you registered online, you need to add the option change yourself on SignMeUp.com, notify us in writing of the option change, and we will cancel the option you don't want anymore. Follow these easy steps:
a. Return to the SignMeUp.com Registration Page from our web site, click this link, http://www.bikewisconsin.com/Register/Registration_onlineWI_08.html and then click on the tour you registered for online. At the SignMeUP.com page, go to the bottom of the page and check the box where it states "I have already registered for a tour and would like to purchase additional items" and click on Continue. You will need your confirmation code. You can go into your registration and add whatever services you'd like. You will be charged on your credit card for whatever you add to your registration.
b. Contact us in writing by email, fax or mail and state which tour you have registered for and which option you would like to cancel.
c. We will cancel the option you don't want anymore and refund your payment minus a $10 processing fee. Credit card refunds may take 4-6 weeks to appear on your credit card statement.
2. If you registered by paper form we will need to make the change by adding the new option and cancelling the one you don't want anymore.
a. Contact us in writing by mail and state which option you would like to cancel, what you would like to add, and which tour you are registered for. Enclose a check for the amount of the option you'd like to add.
b. We will cancel the option you don't want anymore and add the services requested. We will mail you a refund check minus a $10 processing fee within 4 weeks.
